May the Fourth Trivia Challenge

Wednesday, April 4–Friday May 4

In 1977 Star Wars premiered at Mann's Chinese Theater and triggered a pop culture phenomenon that has lasted to this day! Celebrate International Star Wars Day and test your Star Wars knowledge with a trivia quiz available from April 4–May 4. We will draw for some fabulous Star Wars memorabilia on May 4. Trivia will be available for both K–5 and 6–12 grades. May the Fourth Be with You!!

 

Pokémon, Etc. Saturday

Bring any cards, Pokémon, Yu-gi-oh, or others, to trade or play. Bring your Gameboy, DS, or other hand-held game system, and any games rated no higher than "E."

Teen Photo Gallery Ice Cream Reception

Step back to The Community Room at the Bull Run Library and enjoy a free ice cream treat while you admire the entries to this year's Teen Photo Contest. For the first time we will have short films as well as photos. The winners will be announced at this time.

SOS stands for "Save the library by Overloading it with fun on Saturdays!"

If you love anime, manga, and Japanese pop culture we want to recruit you into the brigade. Watch some great anime and have fun with other otaku at the library—don't miss it!

Teen Advisory Group

Are you interested in energizing teen programming and services, sharing your perspective and contributing to the library in a meaningful way while earning volunteer credit hours for school? Then you will be interested in joining our Teen Advisory Group which will meet every fourth Saturday at Bull Run at 2:00 pm.

All programs are for students entering grades 6–12.
Unless otherwise specified, all programs are drop-in, no tickets required. Seating will be on a first-come, first-seated basis until the program is filled to capacity.

 

Needles and Hooks Club

If you like to make crafts with a needle or hook, join us on the fi rst Tuesday of the month and have fun sharing your craft and meeting others who also enjoy needlework.

Cafe Chinn

Relax and refresh with a drink in the Community Room at Chinn Park Regional Library. Hang out with your friends and play games, do a craft, read, or just chill at our monthly after school cafe for middle and high school students.
